CREATIVE DIRECTOR

The Creative Director -  is a key member of the leadership team and partners closely with Product Development, Brand Marketing, Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, and Store Design team. He/ she will develop creative programs and design concepts that meet and exceeds the business objectives of our clients and company.

The creative director  is also responsible for creating the vision, strategy, design, and messaging guidelines for all our branded experiences, focusing on products and  custom design projects. This talented and driven person will create the strategic approach to ensure all design projects are facilitated from creative development through final execution.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Provide strong creative direction and quality control over concepts and projects

  • Work with the cross-functional leads to design, estimate, create, manage, track, and drive deadlines for new and existing projects

  • Drive innovation and establish a future vision for technology, including digital fabrication , advanced manufacturing , electronics, and robotics.

  • Build a high-performance team; hire and retain the right talent in the right roles; set goals, delegate work, hold reports accountable; develop and empower direct reports to make decisions and take action

  • Establish individual goals and objectives for direct reports in support of the Company’s strategic goals and objectives

  • Supervise an internal team of designers, 3D artists, technologists, and producers to develop and execute creative projects.

Qualifications

  • Extensive architectural related design experience

  • Business oriented entrepreneur that demonstrate leadership and can develop big creative vision that he/ she can articulate  and exucte

  • Insanely great in what he/she does

  • experience is required but most importantly understanding what the latest technology does and what it can do in the future is a must

  • Creative experience with multiple media types with 3d visual storytelling skills a must

  • Past experience with User Experience design

  • Experience succeeding in a fast-paced growth environment involving time-sensitive, complex projects

  • Architecture Background a plus

  • Must provide a portfolio of relevant work samples. (via URL or PDF)

Requirements

  • Additional experience must include: visual design, including asset production and redlines;  user research (e.g. observational studies, user interviews), flow charts, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, prototyping, and documentation;  user testing and validation through user interviews; working collaboratively on a cross-functional team across all phases of the product lifecycle, from insights generation to strategy and concept ideation.

BRAND OFFICER

This role, leads the marketing, creative and brand strategy for the company. Leading an internal creative team of branding experts, art direction and graphic design, web development and account management. Help build the in-house, creative team from the ground up, laying the foundation for the brand and culture that our company is committed to be. This individual will be a member of the company's senior management team and will serve as a strategic business partner that contributes with a strong, cross-collaborative team spirit.

Responsibilities

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

The successful candidate is able to effectively manage a regional sales territory through use of manufacturer’s and direct sales representatives. Crucial to success in this position will include sales activity oversight and focus, accountability on sales quotas, account development, customer relations, business partner relations, marketing and communication. This position works with the Marketing Manager to develop marketing programs and materials such as advertising and event support. 

Responsibilities

  • Handle entire inside sales process from proposal to close; reach or exceed sales quotas.

  • Track activity, prepare and maintain records for sales leads and account status.

  • Interest in innovation, technology, design, architecture, fabrication, manufacturing.

  • Exceptional relationship building, collaboration and communication skills with an unstoppable intellectual curiosity.

  • Ability to read blueprints, technical documents, and conduct site surveys.

  • Must be able to work in areas of Baltimore, MD and D.C. metropolitan areas, and possess reliable transportation for travel throughout the DMV region.

  • A willingness and ability to travel domestically (up to 25%), required.

  • Experience w/project management, CRM and accounting software required; Sage CRM & Sage 100, a bonus.

  • Knowledge and understanding of marketing and communications (development of ads, product promo pieces, trade shows, sales support documentation).

  • A proven ability to drive the sales process from planning to closing the deal.

  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skill.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or sales for the building industry related work experience.

INTERNS

This internship is a great opportunity to learn how design , technology, and business work together in a fast-paced creative environment . Interns will utilize industrial design and production processes to create tangible prototypes and products , manage vendor relations, and assist other designers as needed.  Interns will also learn how to create presentations and communicate the essence of creative design ideas to  various stakeholders . Also will gain experience working with different types of computer-aided design and production softwares.

Requirements : Must have a strong interest to create innovative design,  continually learn new technology , and love working in a creative startup environment. Also must have a  creative design portfolio and  degree or certification in design related fields including : interior, architecture, engineering, industrial design, game design , graphics etc ...
